That reality carries with it a serious fiduciary obligation to watch over the school district's budget with great care.
My greatest area of concern in Blue Valley is the extent to which the district allocates money for building projects and technology, with more earmarked annually for capital projects than I believe is warranted given the current demographic and fiscal realities.
